Jessica De Giudici is a blues & jazz singer of Italian-American roots.

 

Born and raised in Italy, she has developed artistically over a decade of engagement with the Blues, from rugged busking environments through to critically acclaimed Jazz and Blues festivals inclusive of the European Jazz Expo; Porretta Soul Festival and Roots and Blues Festival to name but a few.

 

Between 2004 and 2010 she performed as part of the Acoustic Blues Duo D’emblè together with the guitarist Niccolo’ D’Ambrosio.

 

In recognition of their style, the duo was awarded first Prize at the On The Road Festival of Pelago (Florence) by a distinguished panel drawn from the fields of music and media: Louis Cabases (L’Unità), Giovanni Ballerini (music giornalist and writer for La Nazione), Eleonora Bagarotti (music giornalist and writer for Editori Riuniti), Valerio Corzani (Radio Rai, Il Manifesto), Piero Galletti (Rai International).

In the 2008 their rearranged versions of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Cold Shot and of Led Zeppelin's Going to California was broadcasted by RADIO 1 RAI.

 

Moving to UK in 2010, Jessica studied music and vocal performance and technique at the Goldsmiths University of London and at the Tech Music School.

 

Jessica has performed in most prestigious venues such as the Barbican Centre, the London Science Museum, and the Gordon Ramsey Restaurant to name but a few.

 

Jessica is currently the lead singer of the Vintage Swing & Jazz band The Red Hot Rags
